Can you convert music from You Tube into iTunes?

I have a MacAir and I am trying to get a song from a musical that is posted on You Tube. iTunes has a version almost like it but it is not the exact same. I want to import/convert the song from You Tube and save it to my iTunes playlist. Is there a way I can do it?
