Safari won't open to my to my homepage?

Macbook Air 13''

Version: 10.10.4 OS X Yosemite

My safari homepage is Google, and every time I open Safari up it will open it to one of the websites I went on earlier. I cleaned my history, removed my website data, nothing is working.

Suggestions?

Suggest you take another look at Safari > preferences > and work your way through the options. Start by loading the home page you want onto the screen. It then becomes your current page for the 'Home Page' section and its URL will be set in there and highlighted. Then click on 'Set to current page'.

Having said all this, it may be different in Yosemite which I am not using, so tell us if it doesn't allow you to follow my line.
