Q: How to re connect the watch if the watch becomes disconnected due to distance of watch and the Iphone ?

If your watch become disconected because of distance , your pairing on the Iphone apps still shows that your phone and watch are paired but in fact they are not. Your bluetooth show disconnected. Once your watch and phone are near again , the re-connection does not automatically starts , when I try to reconnect through the blue tooth menu it will not connect. I had to re-connect by unpairing on the Iphone and reset the watch.

Is there another method ?

The notions of "pairing" and "being connected" are very different.

"Pairing" is much like having a spouse.  Your iPhone and Apple Watch remain paired until you un-pair them.  Similarly, you and your spouse remain paired even when apart.

Bluetooth connection (or lack of connection) happen completely independently of being paired.

They should automatically reconnect via Bluetooth once they are within distance. I haven't had this problem, but if I did I'd try restarting both the watch and the iPhone.
