Multitasking is not showing anywhere on my iPhone 6 iOS 8.4 device, I have even looked in settings, general because I have read that it should be there and so I would turn it off and on, however it is not even being displayed there.
please help!

No, there's no setting for "multitasking". What do you actually mean by multitasking?
i can't go on multitasking like when I double tap so I can close apps and stuff or change apps and when I try find the gesture in settings I can't find it
You need to double press not double tap. There is no setting to turn this feature off and on. Its always there.
