Apple wireless keyboard is discoverable but won't connect.

Power outage last night. This morning the Apple wireless keyboard won't connect even though it's discoverable.

Desk Top-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.6.3), Recently updated to Snow Leopard

Try pressing the power button (right side of the battery area). This will force it to "announce its presence" to the mac.


You can also try to manually connect it via the BlueTooth menu (or through System Preferences).


A third option would be to make sure it has fresh batteries. Sometimes these devices get finicky when the battery is low.
