The bluetooth stopped working yesterday on my late 2008 MacBook. The bluetooth icon has a horizontal line across the center. Is says, "Bluetooth not availably" any ideas how to fix the problem?

Reset the SMC.

Hello, Currently having the same problem here. I have reset the SMC to no avail. I also tried deleting the bluetooth files from the /libray/pref folders and rebooting issue. Do you know of any other methods to correct the issue short of reinstalling the OS?
