iTunes 12.2 update deleted my music?

I just downloaded iTunes 12.2.16, was very excited for the new update until I saw that all the music I own that was not purchased in the iTunes store (ie, taken from a CD) had been deleted from my iTunes library, and those that I had purchased were in the Cloud and not in the actual library. About 90% of my music was not originally from the iTunes store, and I am very upset as I cannot get my music back in the library.

I have tried replacing the iTunes Media file with an older version several times, but it hasn't worked. All my music files are still in the iTunes Media folder, they are just not being shown in the iTunes Library. I have no idea what to do, and I am very upset with Apple right now. Any suggestions?
