that was my question, how do I do it
You don't "download" messages from device to device without restoring a backup of one device containing the messages to another device.
If you'd you'd like to sync messages to all devices at once, then sign into Messaging using the same account on each device.
I do not know what you mean by "sign into messaging" I do have the same account linked to all devices, it has not "synced" to all devices, and yes they all have the same software. I have been trying to trouble shoot it and I cannot seem to sync them all together.
