Video settings/size for keynote

What are optimum compression settings/size for embedding video in keynote? I don't want the entire presentation to crash with a large video embedded, but I want the HD video to look nice when it plays. Are there size limits or guidelines for file sizes or does it just depend on the speed of the computer that plays the presentation? It's a 1:30 minute video, and will probably play from a Macbook.
