Q: Connecting Xbox to Mid 2011 iMac

Hi I'm just wondering if there is a way to connect my xbox to my mid 2011 iMac 21.5 inch. I've been reading all around but I can't come up with a definitive answer. If this is possible what cables/adapters would I need to purchase?

    My understanding from your post is that you want to use your iMac's display to show content from your Xbox, whether this will work and if so how to set it up, is that correct?

     

    Using the iMac's display to show content from another device is called Target Display Mode. To successfully connect in such a fashion, the other device must be a Mac notebook or desktop computer. See this article for reference - Use your iMac as a display with Target Display Mode.
