Using Airplay when connected to Ethernet on another network

I'm trying to get the Apple TV (3rd gen, has most recent software update) at our work to function while connected to our network by Ethernet. Unfortunately, our office has all of the wired network connections on one set of IP addresses and all of our wireless connections on another set of addresses. So when the Apple TV is connected by the Ethernet port it is on a different network than our wireless devices. Is there a way to change the settings on the Apple TV in the Network menu to let it communicate with the wireless devices on the other network?

I know that if we unplug the Ethernet cable it will switch back to wifi and work fine. But since our internet connection is not super fast, we are trying to give the Apple TV the best possible data transfer rate that we can (hence using Ethernet).

The problem is not with AppleTV. The networks are intentionally segmented, which by the way is rather odd to have WiFi on a separate subnet. They would have to stop isolating the networks, or just have ATV use the WiFi connection.
