How can I get rid of ask.com and MyWay.com
The two search engines, Ask.com, and MyWay.com are horrible. How can I get rid of them on my macbook pro? What are better search engines to use?

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
I have been trying to delete Myway for days! I have googled, asked for help etc.... your simple easy to follow directions did it! THANK YOU!!
How do I turn off an extension. and what is an extension
Go to Safari menu/Preferences/Extensions. Extensions are add ons that that do things not built into the browser.
