Restoring Mavericks data to Yosemite installation
I have have data, mail, programs, settings, etc., from a Mavericks installation on Time Machine. Will I be able to import the latter onto a new Yosemite-based Mac? Thank you.

Yes. Use the Setup Assistant or Migration Assistant to transfer them.
