iMessage not opening. Recent change of Apple ID. Changed it in settings, still won't open. Also turned iPad off, still won't open.

iMessage blank screen attempts to open. Then closes. My husband just changed his apple ID. I have turned the iPad off. Changed the Apple ID in the iMessage settings. It just won't open. Also updated to iOS 8.4, still no luck. Any suggestions?

Close the messages app first. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.


Now force restart the device. To force restart the device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Your husband should take a look at this.
