Temperature warning.

So today the battery on my iPhone 6 died and I plugged it in and when it turned back on it wouldn't let me passed the log screen. I plugged it into my computer in recovery mode restored it and now its stuck at the temperature warning page. It's not hot to the touch and its been sitting on that screen for like 20 minutes now. Happened to anybody else?
