A message claiming to be from the FBI popped up on my safari app.
The same question was posted and resolved with respect to a Mac computer (How do I remove FBI ransomware from Safari).
Is the iPhone virus new? How can I stop getting it? So far I've just had to reset my iPhone every time it pops up...

go to settings. then go to safari. then in blue there will be the words clear history and website data. click on that hyperlink. after that your iphone should be fine. of course u will lose all of your safari history.
