Hi,
I don't use safari at all, prefer Firefox.
I have tried working from home using a Citrix interface and I get the error message "Resource shortcuts are currently disabled"
Speaking to my IT department for advice they have informed me that the last Safari update has changes the settings that allow Citrix to work.
I was advised to launch Safari and make the necessary changes, however Safari will not launch.
Any suggestions ?

Make sure your OS X software is up to date.
Open the App Store then select Updates from the menu top of the App Store window.
Done that, no updates available.
Which OS is installed?
If you aren't sure, click the Apple top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac. The version is noted there.

Since Safari won't launch, restore OS X using OS X Recovery.
You are not the only Safari user that has issues with Citrix.
OK, Safari opened, now what ?
OK, Safari launches and the citrix works in it.
Unfortunately now my printer won't work. Says its always offline.
Scan functions but not the printer. After reinstalling the printer drivers still no change.
I thought Mac stuff was impervious to the wims of microsoft faults?
If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
