Did I kill my macbook pro?
So I inadvertently stepped on my closed macbook pro as it hid under a towel in the lawn to keep from getting hot. I'm a big guy, but it was by no means an earth shaking step. As soon as my foot made contact I knew right away what it was. I didn't think much of it, because this old laptop has survived just about everything these past five years. I can't even remember all the times it has fallen 4+ feet onto my hardwood floors. It aches and groans but it never dies. But I took it inside afterwards and nothing happened when I opened the screen. There was no flashing light on the bottom edge signaling that it was asleep. No lights came on when I plugged in my charger. Held the power button. Totally unresponsive. Anything I can do? Or did I finally put this thing to bed?
