my iphone 5s went dark and I cannot recharge it
My iphone 5s shut down unexpectedly and I am unable to turn it on or to charge it.

Connect it to the charger, then do a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, about 10-40 seconds, then release both buttons.
