MacBook Pro or MacBook Air?

I will be a rising senior in high school. I plan on using this thing for 5 years. 1 in high school, and 4 in college.

Is a MacBook Pro my best buy, or is the MacBook Air pretty convenient for me as well (due to its light weight)?
