Can I use an all in one PC as the display for a Mac Mini?

i just bought a Mac Mini to replace my stepdaughter's all-in-one PC. I need to keep the PC as I use some medical software that is not compatible with Mac(!), and as such would like to know if it is possible to use the PC as the monitor for the Mini, and if so how to switch between the two when needed?
