Safari Security Breach

I got a message on my iPad Safari page that Safari may have a serious security breach and they gave a number I should call. Being naturally suspicious I did not call and I did not write the number down, so if this was legitimate I can not now call. Has anyone experienced this?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.3
