Q: recent transaction list

When I make apple pay purchases on my iPhone I can see my recent transaction history for each card in Passbook by selecting the "i" next to each card. However, i do not see a similar function or way to see recent transaction information on the Apple Watch.  Does anyone know if this is available and if so where do I pull that information.  I like getting the feedback on my iPhone as I can quickly verify the charge without going to my online banking account.

Thanks. Bill

It is not currently possible to view recent transactions for Apple Pay purchases made using Apple Watch (neither on the watch nor in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone).

If you would like to see this feature added, you can submit feedback here: https://www.apple.com/feedback/watch.html

You'd think this would be a major requirement.

It's available in Passbook on the iPhone when paying with your Phone, why not the watch?

I agree. this is a nice feature on the phone that should be available no matter the device used to complete a transaction with applepay. Looks like I need to submit feedback as Jonathan mentioned above. That's for commenting. Bill

If you take a look at the ‘device account number’ for the same credit card on your iPhone vs Watch you’ll quickly see they are different. It’s why you can still use Pay on your watch even if you don’t have your phone with you. Someone pointed this out to me when I asked the same question. It would be nice to have a transaction history on the Watch too.

Has anyone heard rumors if this might be implemented with watchOS 2.0?

I did not notice the DANs were different. Great to know and thank you for sharing. I sure do wish they would implement this feature as i find Applepay even easier on the Apple Watch then on my iPhone.

They have to be different due to the authentication then encryption method when the device contacts the bank to register the card, this allows you to cancel the card on the phone or the watch separately.

This has caused problems on the Loneon underground due to people scanning in with their watch and scanning out with their phone counting as two different devices and charging more!
