I updated my browser and iPhoto is no longer compatible with OS X yosemite. Its says there's a free app, but the the app store says it's not available in the us - help?!

In v10.10.3 Yosemite, the new Photos app in your Applications folder replaced the iPhoto app.
If you don't want to use Photos for some reason, click here and try following the instructions.

Thanks Carolyn - actually - it turns out i updated my browser and my os - so i just needed to delete iPhoto in finder/application and then reinstall it (the original safari os version that came with the computer at inception) from the purchases section of the App Store.

Thanks Niel - turns out i sort of goofed in updating my browser from the app store and also updated my os to yosemite - or at least iPhoto - anyway -i fixed it with the help of Brandon from apple's online chat (way to go Brandon) as explained above, I really appreciate your taking the time to try and help me too!!!!
