Keys on my Mac keyboard are incorrectly mapped after cleaning

I recently cleaned my external keyboard (Mac keyboard, aluminium with white keys) with a keyboard wipe called Compu Clean Office Equipment Cleaning Wipes.

I used one wipe but some of the residue must have seeped under the keys as now the square bracket key ( ] ) acts as Expose, and F10 and F11 control the exposure settings rather than mute and volume down.

Is there a way to remap these keys back to their original function. I have reset all settings within system preferences.

I have tried it on two computers and it is definitely the keyboard.

Is there a preference file that can be deleted somewhere?

Or is the hardware fried now beyond repair?

Thanks

Jon
