I want to know how IOS device support wi-fi network roam, such as PMKID cache, OKC(Opportunistic Key Caching), 802.11k and 802.11r.
I found the article in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202628 . it says IOS devices support 802.11k,802.11r, PMKID cache.
This PMKID cache refer to which one?
1. standard PMKID cache ? (IEEE 802.11 standard. Meaning if iphone already been on Access Point before in the same session before it will roam smooth back )
2. OKC(Opportunistic Key Caching)?
From my test, My iphone 5s(IOS 8.4) rarely send a PMKID in (re)Associate frame, and I guess iphone don't support OCK. it's that right?
