I keep losing the wireless printer (Office Jet Pro 8610e) with my MacBook Pro Laptop. The operating system is OS X Yosemite 10.10.4. The HP website said it may be a problem with bonjour. Any ideas how I can fix this problem? I have verified that the printer is connected to the internet and wireless is okay. It has just been a problem the past few months. Is there a bug in the operating system update?

Have you tried going to Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility and Repair Permissions, and then login to the HP website and see that you have the latest software installed for the printer?
Fixed the permission errors and everything was repaired except SUID file in System/Library/CoreServices was modified and was not repaired. It still will not connect to the wireless printer. BTW, the printer is connected to my windows desktop computer. The printer shows that the wireless is connected.

Go to the Mac App Store and check for Updates - there was an HP printer update during Yosemite 10.10.3 if my memory is correct, see if that shows up for you.
Dave, go to:HP Printer Drivers v3.1 for OS X it is dated June 2015 so is probably newer driver than you have.
Thanks for trying to fix this problem. I was able to resolve the problem when Verizion had me reset the router and then reboot it. Also, Verizon is upgrading my router which is rather old and out of date. Thanks for your efforts.
