pretty much the above, but the only reason I bought the iPad was so I could use it with my current mobile plan. I even asked this ahead of buying it. My plan only allows 3G. I'm on the latest iOS. Please help ASAP.

Have you run out of your data plan? Usually unless you're on an unlimited data plan you'll have a limit which which, when reached will prevent you from access the internet.
Have you reset the network settings?
Have you done a hard reset - hold down home & on/off button until you see the Apple logo then let go?
Thankyou for your reply. I do have unlimited and none of that worked. I tried ringing to phone company and apparently they gave me a SIM card which is "iPhone specific". Oh well, who knew? Thank you for your time.
