Tried to access zoom. Now have black rectangle outline. Shutting down and reloading does not fix.

II was trying to fix the zoom feature on my system. Somehow I ended up with the outline of a rectangle on the screen....it is about 2 x 3 inches. Even shutting down and relaunching the system, does not take it away.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Using Pages app>

Thanks, figured it out...It was a picture in picture function...whew! Next question...How do I set up zoom using keyboard instead of mouse?
