Had to replace my old iPad can't retrieve my info

MY old iPad got wet so it does not power up . I can't retrieve my info and pics although the I was registered with the cloud

Signing the device into iCloud does not automatically make all content available, for that to happen you must backup the device to iCloud.


Content that is set to sync, such as PhotoStream, Contacts, should be available if you setup the new iPad with the same iCloud account and go to Settings > iCloud and turn on those functions that are to sync.


If you made a backup of the old iPad in iCloud, have you tried to restore the backup to the new iPad?
