When using safari, i recieved a message that says a third party has caused ios to stop working. Their is a phone number to call but I'm leery of calling a number I don't know. Any ideas?

It's a scam, a criminal is after your info (and probably some cash) don't call. Restart Safari with the shift key depressed.
