new macbook (pro) or stay with my macbook air

I need some advice. I have now a macbook 11" air 8GB 256SSD. I want a better resolution though. So I was thinking about buying the new macbook 12" or the macbook pro 13"

Both have a SSD now. Pro has a better resolution but the new macbook is very portable.

I phoned the sales at Apple but did not get any help there. The salesman said he did not know which one was better. He only had some performance numbers on paper. He said I had to try it out myself. Very dissapointing. If he made some effort I would actually bought the one suggested.

Anyway... can someone give me advice ...? 😁
