iphone 5s wont turn on and cobnect your charger logo not showing up

My iphone 5s has been dead for 2 weeks and about 5 days or so in (possibly a week) my phone still showed the connect to your charger logo but now the screen is just black & I RECENTLY bought an mfi certified charger and I plugged it into the phone and nothing showed up. Its been charging for about 4 hours now & nothing has happened. PLEASEEE I NEED HELP
