Q: Sometimes cannot hear caller

Using iphone 6 plus, often i cannot hear a caller at all. Probably happens about one in four times. I have to ring them back or they can ring me back and everything is ok then. This is not a signal problem. All outgoing calls work fine. Have had the problem for a few months now. Have tried restarting the iphone but the problem persists. Any ideas anyone?

Hi Rodney,

Sorry to hear that you are having issue hearing from the receiver on your iPhone. There are a few things that you can do and restarting is one of them. Take a look at the article below to go over some additional troubleshooting to get it sorted out.

Hi Rodney,

Did you ever get a satisfactory answer to this problem? It happens on my iPhone 6+ quite frequently. Re-starting is a lengthy process and doesn't appear to permanently fix the problem...
