import pictures from iPhone to OS X with no synchronisation

Can you help me how to set iTunes to import pictures/video from iPhone by USB cable to MBP Yosemite in iCloud library photo but I'd like to avoid synchronisation.

How can I reach this scope?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Maybe there is a way to do it with iTunes but I use a 13 year old computer and I use Image Capture to download photos and videos from my wife's iPhone5s to my computer. As long as it is a photo recently taken on the phone my computer treats it as if it were just another camera.
