Exporting to PDF
I cannot export to pdf using the Share menu it does not have the PDF option. Is anyone else having the same problem and if so is there a solution, thanks
That's odd. Have you tried using File -> Export... -> PDF?

Yes, it give me the same 2 options ePub & Text. I've looked in the preferences to see if it's something that I need to switch on, but I can't see anything.

I've figured it out, it's because I've used the classic ePub template. When I choose a different template it gives me the pdf option.
I've made my course handbook in this format and have spent a considerable amount of time on it. Is there a quick way that I can copy what I have straight into one of the other templates that offers me the PDF option?
Try to save you current book as a template. Then you create a new book and choose your created template as the template for this book. It seems odd, but that's the way to basically import your content into a new template.
Great idea however it did not work. I saved the template, but when I tried use it again it still did not give me the PDF option. Never mind I will have to copy and past it in, rather a drag but you live and learn. Thanks for all your help anyway.
It seems like for the ePub templates, the PDF option is under Share -> via email. Not too sure why that is the case, and this would only work with small enough files to send via email, but it may be a solution for you.
Yeach I've already tried that but it just sends me the first page only. Cheers Karen
