macbook pro built speakers in max volume

Hello

Is turning up the preamp bar on iTunes's equalizer to the max - 12 db - and listening to music for hours, harmful for the built in macbook pro speakers?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), Mid-2014, 15", i7 2.5, 16GB, 750M
