When I click on the mail icon on my iPad 2, a blank page comes up, then disappears. The alert sound still works, and the icon shows how many emails I have. I've tried rebooting, deleting/adding my account, and other stuff. Would love other suggestions.

Same thing happened to me on my ipad. Apple Mail app opens to blank page, but with the icons at the top ( trash reply etc) and nothing else. Before this happened, it started working oddly, ( can't remember the details) and I had to input my accounts again. It worked for a while, then suddenly nothing. I am in the process of restoring my ipad. If this does not work, I am out of options.
