Q: Why my podcasts show up on wife phone?
Why are podcasts I subscribe to showing up on my wife's iPhone?
Is it something to do with Family Sharing, which I still don't understand. What account does she log in to in iTunes & App Store to use Family Sharing, my account or her own?

If she's using your Apple ID she will see your subscriptions. She should use her own Apple ID in Family Sharing and all other things. Read here if it's not clear to you how to configure Family Sharing: Family Sharing - Apple Support
