Jul 29, 2015 1:01 PM in response to levilucas03by Kappy,How did you create this bootable USB flash drive? Did you do this:
Make your own Yosemite flash drive installer using the Yosemite tool:
You can create a Yosemite flash drive installer via the Terminal. Yosemite has its own built-in installer maker you use via the Terminal:
You will need a freshly partitioned and formatted USB flash drive with at least 8GBs. Leave the name of the flash drive at the system default, "Untitled." Do not change this name. Wait for the process to complete which will take quite some time.
Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy and paste the following command line in its entirety into the Terminal window.
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app
Press RETURN, enter admin password (will not echo to the window) then press RETURN again.
You need to have the installer in your Applications folder or change the paths in the above command line.
When it's completed be sure to test if can boot your computer. If so, then use it to boot the one you are working on.
Oh, be sure you download the Yosemite Installer Application from the App Store using the Apple ID and password of the person who owns the Mac you are repairing. Don't use your Apple ID.

Jul 29, 2015 1:24 PM in response to Kappyby levilucas03,Okay ill give it a shot now...its installing to the USB now
So i wouldnt need the recovery disks then??
and how comes it matters withe Apple ID account then?
-
Jul 29, 2015 1:54 PM in response to levilucas03by Kappy,You should not need the recovery discs. Boot from the USB flash drive when it's finished. The installer will load. Select the disk on which to install, then click on the Install button.
It matters because the download is connected to the Apple ID of the person who downloaded it. That Apple ID will be tied to the installation for any future upgrades. If it has your Apple ID, then the person who owns that computer will not be able to upgrade without using your Apple ID and password.

Jul 31, 2015 12:47 PM in response to levilucas03by Kappy,I don't really understand what you did. After installing Snow Leopard initially did the computer work OK? The only update you needed to access the App Store was Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. There is no point in downloading Lion if you want to install Yosemite. Just download the Yosemite installer from the App Store.
Might I suggest you remove all third-party peripherals including hubs. Only use the Apple keyboard and mouse.
The report is a kernel panic log. What you pasted here is what they look like. See OS X- About kernel panics. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on diagnosing kernel panics.
