Q: Music added to library on mac don't show up on iPhone

I am encountering a problem with Apple Music. When i add songs to my library from Apple Music on i mac i shows up in my library, and works just fine. However

the songs don't show up on my iPhone, neither on playlists or in my library. iCloud music library is enabled on both devices, and i chose "merge" when first enabling it on my phone. I have turned off iCloud music library and back on again, as well as rebooted my phone. My phone is an iPhone 6 running the newest version of iOS.

Is this a song you purchased, or just listened to though the subscription? If you did not buy it then it is not part of your library. So it will not show up on other devices.

Hello Brian. According to this FAQ from Apple Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library - Apple Support It should work.
