Music and media volume are really too low, even on full volume. Soundcheck is offu

When i decide to listen to music or watch a video on my iPhone 6, it starts out so quiet. I then have to skim through the media till it gets louder. This happens when on full volume. Its incredibly frustrating to have to do this every single time. sound check is off! Someone please help.
