how can i get my texts while service was suspended

It depends on whether you mean SMS or iMessages. And it also depends on how long service was suspended. Actually, if your cell phone service was suspended you will never get them; they would have been treated as undeliverable.

Either type message, but primarily SMS. It was suspended for just over a day. Is there no way they will come in? I know that I was sent messages from non-iphone users who had no idea I didn't receive them.
