post-commit hook not fired by Xcode 7.0 git commit

Hi there.

As part of getting my continuous integration going, I am setting up a gateway to automatically push my code changes to a remote repository if it passes build, tests, and static analysis.

I have set up a post-commit hook in the .git/hooks directory that gets fired if I commit from the command line.

When I commit from Xcode, the hook is not fired.

Is this a bug or a feature?

(I have tried using OSX Server and bots already, and this is another stage on my journey)

Cheers,
