Photo stream photos

My iPhone was recently stolen. I cancelled my contract.. I had photo stream turned on and was regularly connected to wifi. My phone however had not been backed up for a while due to s lack of storage. I'm presently abroad so I can't check it.. When I turn on my Mac, will the photos which were in my photo stream appear or have I lost my photos when i lost my phone??
