ipad air 2 touch screen stalled

have been using my new ipad air 2 with not problems until today. the touch screen is stalled and won't react. what do I do now?

Mine did that once, did a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, about 10-40 seconds, then release both buttons and let it restart.

Try resetting:

Hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

Try to force a reboot. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. If you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that fixes things
