My iPad doesn't rotate! It's getting on my nerves!

I'm not an Apple genius, or anything, but I think your problem MIGHT be that you might've turned on the screen rotation lock setting. If the little switch on the right of your iPad is on, it might mean that your iPad is locked in its rotation position while the slide is in that position, if that's what you set that switch to control. If that doesn't work for you, I'm not sure I can think of anything else. I just hoped that this may have helped, somehow.

If the problem rcently started after updating to IOS 8.4 try turning off Reduce Motion.

Have you recently upgraded to the iOS 9 public beta? If so, this might be your problem.

Next step is a reset. Press and release both the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release both fingers. Wait until your iPad starts on it's own.
