Will an new macbook pro run the macros in excel that I have on my windows PC? It is a deciding factor in my purchase decision.

I am interested in switching back to a macbook pro from PC but the reason I left mac a number of years ago was because i work daily in an excel spread sheet (that has been created on a PC with visual basics) with macro enabled commands and the mac was not capable of doing them without rewriting all of the commands which I do not know how to do. Will the newest macbook pros execute macro commands in Excel just like it does on PC or not so much.
