My iphone 5S was just smashed and is unrepairable. I have to have a phone, but I want to wait for the new phone to come out. Do I have any options?

You can go for a bare bone pay as you go phone, until you upgrade. What do you mean by you wanted to wait for a six, the iPhone 6 is already out?
No one except Apple knows when the next iPhone upgrade will be available but you can purchase a new iPhone 6 or 6 plus now > Shop iPhone
The iPhone 6 has been out for almost a year already. If you mean whatever the next iPhone si going to be called, then yes you can get a barebones pay as you go option until its released.
