Why can't I download the kindle app on my iPad air?

What do you mean by 'won't let me download the Kindle App', what happens when you try to download it ?

Have you checked to see if your payment card is upto date

Go to itunes main page bottom of page click on apple id

Go to payments & cards.

Have you tried deleting App & download again .

Also try a reboot press & hold power button

Menu button hold both down until you see

Apple Logo .

You will not lose any data .
